Introduction Girls
Fast Food Academy (GFFA) aimed to empower girls and
young women in Tanzania. The
venture seeks to address prevalent issues such as sexual exploitation, forced
labor and forced marriage by providing comprehensive restaurant training
coupled with mentorship and financial literacy support.
The
compelling aspect of GFFA lies in its dual-purpose approach: not only does it
provide practical skills training in culinary arts and hospitality, but it also
serves as a protective shield for vulnerable girls, offering them opportunities
for sustainable livelihoods and societal reintegration. Can

Problem
Community in Kigoma and Katavi faces significant
challenges related to gender-based exploitation and lack of economic

trafficking is a harsh reality with children as young as 10 years old falling
victim to internal trafficking for domestic labor or child prostitution.

holistic solution by providing:
Structured training in cooking, baking, food processing
and customer care.
